DAR distributes farm machinery to five towns in Lanao del Norte

 At least five towns in Lanao del Norte have each received farm machinery from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) through its “Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS)” program during the formal turned-over ceremony held at Gazpachos’s Bar and Restaurant in Pala-o, Iligan City, on  October 26,2015. 
        The farm machinery , which cost more than Php 15 million, consists of five Tractors, Corn Sheller, Floating Tiller, Trailing Harrow, Disc Flow and Five ton Trailers provided easy access to more than 2,500 agrarian reform beneficiaries. 
         The turned –over ceremony was attended by DAR-10 officials, provincial and municipal officials and other concern individuals.
          Other invited officials include Governor Khalid Dimaporo and first district Rep. Imelda Dimaporo, all of the province of Lanao del Norte. 
           On one hand, Matungao town Vice Mayor Dr. Jabbar Azis lauded the efforts of DAR and the beneficiaries for the successful implementation of the project.
           On the other hand, the beneficiaries thanked the DAR for providing the funding through its Common Services Facilities (CFS) under ARCCESS projects.                 
           PARBO II Jamil Amatonding, Jr is hoping that with these facilities more ARBOs will be benefitted in the area.
            “I am hoping that more development will spill over in the province with these facilities and I am appealing to other beneficiaries to monitor the projects implemented by the leading groups”, Amatonding said.
             During the turned-over and the formal signing of the project, DAR regional director Faisar Mambuay ,AL HADJ,CESO IX briefly explained the Agrarian Reform Community (ARC) development program strategies. 
             “These CSFs under the ARCCESS are part of the support services program implemented in the ARCs”, Mambuay said. 
                Mambuay also underscored the significance of the project to the ARC beneficiaries toward rural development
