Iligan City - The issue that the city denied the application of
30 couples wanting to be included in the mass wedding is not true. Acting mayor
Ruderic Marzo yesterday said that it is his desire to legitimize unions of all
live in couples. But they have to come up with the requirements he said. Those
who spread such issue in social media is just making black propaganda vs. the
administration.

To note Marzo's six months stay as mayor will end October of
this year. But with the arrest warrant of mayor Celso Regencia in connection
with the ambush of Congressman Vicente Belmonte Jr. last Dec .ll and with Regencia still at large there is a possibility
that Marzo's acting term as mayor here will be extended.
